ARCUS's corporate capacity possesses a strong track record of executing country entry and establishment of financial services to the un-banked. This process includes analysis of country potential, managing market entry via green-field start-up or acquisition, organizational growth and development as well as reengineering and turnaround of existing institutions if needed. This has been exhibited in:

  • In Romanian, the microfinance venture "CAPA" where Arcus management has played the lead executive role from 1995 to 2009, during this tenure phases successfully navigate included country and market analysis, program design, green-field start-up, operational expansion, organizational and institutional development moving the venture into a nationally prominent financial service provider with thirty five (35) branches and an asset base of forty million euro (€ 40,000,000).
  • In Kenya where Arcus management has prepared market entry and expansion via acquisition of two institutions and the consequential reengineering, turnaround and integration of the businesses. This oversight also bridge the 2008 post election violence in Kenya and the subsequent business recovery.
  • Under Arcus leadership a new Romanian NBFI will initiate operations in the first quarter of 2011 financed by public and private investors.
